The GM has already said he will not propose any work at the beach club in the coming fiscal year. He also said he would not spend money on drainage problems over on the north side.

He did, however, say he would be interested in building a high-rise parking garage over at the ocean.

On 589 he wants to build a public safety complex and new administration building to house the OPAHS Agency (OPA Homeland Security) and special, perhaps underground, quake-proof, hurricane-proof bunker where the GM can control disasters that strike Ocean Pines.

This public safety facility, perhaps $8-10 million, will be just north of the GM's proposed $8-10 million world class Natatorium that will attract swim competitions from across the east coast, maybe the entire country.

This place is totally out of control. OPA is a homeowners association. Let's do what is needed to maintain home values, not attempt to turn this place into Disneyland North.
