By the way our OP property owners do buy these One Day Passes also. If they don't go to the beach very often, they find it much cheaper in the long run to do the "one day thing".
Well, if they have no interest in the pool they can buy six days of parking-only for $180; or pay $175 and get every day parking and four unlimited pool passes. The pool passes can probably be sold for more than the $175. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Carol, That is correct. We NEVER allowed any outsiders to buy passes to our Beach Parking lot before the IRS crisis. They now can do so, but only for one specific day and the pass must be purchased at the Ocean Pines Admin. Bldg. Not a lot of folks want to drive from Ocean City and back for a parking pass, but there may be special reasons that they need to get close to the ocean. Handicapped people..., a lot of visitors etc. Whatever....it satisfies the IRS! Too bad the BoD at that time went into a panic and "gave away the farm" over this issue. We have become the WoCo. Recreation Dept. paid for with HOA dues! By the way our OP property owners do buy these One Day Passes also. If they don't go to the beach very often, they find it much cheaper in the long run to do the "one day thing". They swim in OP. Nancy |
