How many staff members are required at the tennis and pickle ball courts.
It is not fair to charge some and not others. I don't think you can explain that away |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Why should the boat ramp be free to anyone. Pool, tennis, pickle ball and golf require a fee of some kind. Th dog park and skateboard spark should also have a user fee I believe some things should be "free of extra charge" for owners. Especially ones that do not require extra staffing, such as the ones mentioned . As well as playgrounds, and parks etc. Once built, at the expense of dues paying membership/owners, then, In my opinion, some things are just part of our community for our community owners.. The outside users take advantage of our infrastructure at no cost to them, or a very nominal fee that is in fact less than our owner/members pay, since outside users do not pay association assessments, take space and time from availability for use from association members etc. They are not at fault as they have been Invited to use our community at no cost or at very minimal costs. As property owners we are bound to follow a set of rules and regulations that we must adhere to to keep our community clean and safe and lovely or have consequences such as CPI violations notices etc.. We bear the burden of the cost of maintaining this community, that we voluntarily chose, and agreed in writing to follow the rules. Part of the payoff of this, IN MY OPINION, is living in a community that we can take pride in as well as enjoy some amenities at no additional cost. |
