So Joe, should we ask for the money back we paid for an amenity we don't really have. Keep in mind that we actually came out in the plus side in the books (unlike many of the others that keep losing $)
Then again.. If we had our own courts perhaps the folks who have not renewed because of no dedicated courts would renew & even hold tournaments & bring even more money in. Would not cost much to change over 2 tennis courts and then all the rest is profit for OP... |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We still need courts to play on so does not rectify the problem Nor will the board's decision to spend $150,000 at Manklin Meadows provide any pickleball courts. As Tom Terry said on Tuesday (to paraphrase) -- "We are spending $150,000 in case some future board decides to build pickleball courts." Maybe this is your idea of fun or good management of our assessment dollars, but not mine. |
