I think that it's really ironic to look at a video of the present board's meeting and remember that some on this forum said (or implied) that when Clarke left the board, civility would reign. Something is reigning but it's not civility.
I agree with you. Collins should have been told to ask his question in a civilized manner and Terry should have been instructed to answer the question in like manner. Collins, by his actions, gave Terry the perfect excuse to duck the question. Dumb. It's exasperating to watch this circus. As for Cordwell..."you are excused from this meeting since we still have a quorum without you". |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Cordwell should be publicly censured for his behavior. He should be removed from the board for cause. Terry and Thompson wanted to remove Marty Clarke just because complained about some board or GM actions. Cordwell threatened a fellow board member with bodily harm at a public board meeting. Having said that, Collins was totally off the rails and the president should have reined Collins in before the exchange with Cordwell ever took place. The meeting was a disgrace from many aspects. |
