I need to add to my education regarding the OPA that will come in the form of face-to-face conversations with membership, interactions with the board regarding their position on various issues and additional research on where the OPA is currently and in what direction it should be heading in the future.
So.... you plan on running around 2050.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Gene, Thanks and note that its WHEN, and not IF, I run for the board. I have already been asked a few times and have responded that this year is not yet the time. I still work on the other side of the bridge, but more importantly, I'm still preparing for potential board membership. While I currently chair the By-Laws and Resolutions advisory committee, there is much more I need to add to my education regarding the OPA that will come in the form of face-to-face conversations with membership, interactions with the board regarding their position on various issues and additional research on where the OPA is currently and in what direction it should be heading in the future.
