As a former president of the board, do you actually believe that "directing the GM to act on the (safety) report" is a function of the board?
I think that if a GM doesn't act on a safety report on his own, the function of a board is to look for his replacement. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Marty, If I'm not mistaken, you were a member of the Board at the time of that safety report. I don't recall you or any other director reading the report into the public record at a board meeting, making a motion to direct the GM to act on the report and maintaining oversight to insure compliance with the board's directive. Bringing it to light now is useless. Bill Z |
