For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The General, the Commander, The Captain, the CEO, the GM or whatever else you want to call the person at the top is ultimately responsible for what his/her organization does or fails to to do. Thus that is where the replacement process usually starts. Beg to differ. The top dog is the Board of Directors. The GM is a board employee. The GM will stay until some board hires a new GM. Consider that Larry Perrone, an announced candidate, says he would not support hiring a new GM because the current GM has not been given enough time free of board interference to prove he can do the job. With that sort of nonsense he probably has a good chance of winning.
