Point out in any post that I have made where I claimed the GM was not responsible. What I have pointed out is the responsibility for maintenance goes beyond the GM, it goes to the very people responsible for maintenance. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Carol Some time ago there was a project list that the GM was required to report to the BOD on the progress on monthly. It was abandoned when BT became GM. Director tried to get it reinstated. BT absolutely recused stating he would not micro managed in such a way. By taking this position he took complete responsibility for all projects and when they would be completed. In addition he would report to no one as to what was being done or not done. Today the playground is in need of repairs, bridges need work, country club ac should have been replaced, beach club bath room is a disgrace and the list goes on. You claim that BY is not responsible for any of this. Thoes responsible are the BOD for not instructiing him to get things done or his subordinates for not doing the work. When in your opinion does the person in the top position become responsible? |
