Speaking of signs, the thing I remember most about today's meeting was when I was driving home on Ocean Parkway. There must have been 20 crap looking hand made signs at every intersection advertising yard sales and open houses. There is not a low rent trailer park in the Ozarks that would permit this kind of trashy behavior. First class resort community? Not anymore! Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I find the diversion interesting in that no one on the Forum has said in this particular discussion that signs on trucks are illegal. Illegal in what regard? OPA sign rules are not law. Are you suggesting that state or county law may prohibit such signs on trucks? The OPA DR Guidelines are subject to interpretation, and ultimately that interpretation depends on whatever four board members interpret. Does anyone think this board majority will tell Cordwell he cannot park his sign festooned truck on OPA property? They are more likely cheering him on. |
