In regards to the conditions of some properties in OP I just spent a long weekend with my son and his family in Avalon, N.J.
I did NOT drive up and down every street in town but on the ones I did I didn't see a SINGLE house or lot that wasn't neat as a pin. Either the homeowners have more pride in their community or the authorities treat violations as a CAPITAL offense! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: Speaking of signs, the thing I remember most about today's meeting was when I was driving home on Ocean Parkway. There must have been 20 crap looking hand made signs at every intersection advertising yard sales and open houses. There is not a low rent trailer park in the Ozarks that would permit this kind of trashy behavior. First class resort community? Not anymore! Marty |
