Hi Peggy,
I wonder why they would cut away any shrubbery that would hide that ugly thing? Any time that people notice maintenance that needs to be taken care of they should call the GM and tell him about it... within a reasonable time for it to have been fixed. It seems that spending money on new things is MORE IMPORTANT than maintaining what we have now. OP is looking seedy in many places, and we will not attract new property owners if things continue to get worse. This will affect the property values of EVERYONE. No one will want to purchase a home in a "declining community". We all need to speak up about this, and not wait for someone else to do it. The place that you mention is seen by LOTS of people every day! I will be there next week. I hope that a new fence or shrubs will be there by then. Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Next time you ride up Ocean Parkway, take a look at the pumping station building at the corner of Clubhouse and Ocean Parkway. OP cut the bushes and did work on the pumping station because of smell coming from it. But left this horrible eye sore for all to see. All the golf course traffic sees it. Real nice and welcoming. How would you like to live near it. That green house in corner used to be mine. So glad I moved. It's embrassing to see that mess on the parkway. It looks like a dump property building. It has junk dumped in the fence because you can see through the boards. Wake up OP and fix this mess. |
