Hi Nancy, Bill replied to me that it's a county problem. I don't care who's problem it is.. that place is just plain ugly. They cut the bushes to work on it and I think enlarge the ugly building. Talk about a patch job on the entire thing and I don't think anyone is going to replant bushes or make it look better. It's been this way for months after the work was finished. If it's the county's responsibility, why would they care, just look at how they dig up the edges of the roads. Basically destroying them, over and over. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Peggy, I wonder why they would cut away any shrubbery that would hide that ugly thing? Any time that people notice maintenance that needs to be taken care of they should call the GM and tell him about it... within a reasonable time for it to have been fixed. It seems that spending money on new things is MORE IMPORTANT than maintaining what we have now. OP is looking seedy in many places, and we will not attract new property owners if things continue to get worse. This will affect the property values of EVERYONE. No one will want to purchase a home in a "declining community". We all need to speak up about this, and not wait for someone else to do it. The place that you mention is seen by LOTS of people every day! I will be there next week. I hope that a new fence or shrubs will be there by then. Nancy |
