From now on, I will make every effort refer to the Pines by the appropriate term. Though, one might make the argument that "subdivision " is a much less appealing term than "town." We have our own shops, police, fire department, parks, local governance, etc.  While I'm not sure if that fits the legal, dictionary definition of "town," it's close enough for me.
