hello Janet,
thanks for sharing your experience and providing sound advise. A question for you. I decided to obtain an independent legal counsel. Joe indicated that when the Board tried to remove Marty it cost the Associtaion $11 K. This would imply my legal fees would be covered by the Association also. Can you confirm this from your own experience? thank you! slobodan |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have Been there done that. The Board tried to Board tried to oust me when I was on the board. The first thing you should do is demand the GM RECUSE HIMSELF. Big time Conflict of Interest. And I would beat that drum till every person in OPA hears it in his sleep. Next I would let them know that you would SUE EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY BY NAME. That is something that they will not want to be hit with. Good luck. |
