Hurt our yearly projected income pretty badly, though.
Maybe I missed something. Are we talking about one evening's work, or was this non-payment for an extensive period? Well, we can play semantics but when a lawyer is involved and payment is forthcoming after a year, I'll call it a settlement. Others can pick whatever word they choose. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Life defining? No. Hurt our yearly projected income pretty badly, though. We were more than a little angry about that. My wife received no money from OPA as a result of any kind of settlement. She received a check for her work at the banquet, after my lawyer did his lawyer thing over a period of months. I can't speak for anyone else. I haven't heard anything about any kind of settlement with anyone regarding the New Year's banquet. I'm not sure where you're getting your info. |
