I am not sure what in the article triggered your comment.  My reply to Gazette was not published.  My response to the question the Board received is below:

Since your message is addressed to all directors I feel compelled to offer my personal reply on the subject.

I totally agree with you. The membership deserves a explanation given the huge January payroll on a closed Yacht Club facility. The Association's management should be able to provide a specific dollar amount and the nature of the transaction that caused such unusual payroll expenditure.

Unless there is a confidentially or non-disclosure agreement preventing the Association's management from releasing such information I am fully in support of doing so.
