Thanks for your excellent commentary on the history of the OPA slots money.  It matches my recollection of the events surrounding that matter Very well.

My one regret is that I did not support your effort to secure the funds.  I thought it best that the money go to the County for passdown as it saw fit.  Actual events show that Ocean Pines can receive the funds and properly administer their use.

You were right in your assessment of that matter and I was wrong.  I note that through all of that (and other disagreements) we have remained good friends.  As always, I continue to respect your opinion and will pay attention to it... even when we disagree.  Thanks for caring so much about Ocean Pines and for all that you do for its members.
