kinda my point. I'm glad the numbers we showed Maryland in terms of voters I thought were "potential" voters not actual voters.
I don't understand your point, or maybe I am just totally confused. The numbers I provided were the count of "registered voters" at the time of the letter in 2009. There are potential voters (every of-age adult more or less); registered voters (those who have registered to vote); actual voters (those who voted). The only place I get more than one vote is here because of my other properties. We cannot equate an election of board members in an HOA with the election of government officials. With the latter it is "one person, one vote." In our HOA it is one lot , one vote. Furthermore, in the regular election, this is why Ocean City is never really represented either... The whole second home thing. Ocean City is represented by the people who live in Ocean City. Voting is personal thing, not a property thing. People with a second home in OC do have a vote if their home is in a OC condo or HOA. You you never answered my comment on your end-game, I mean when you give this up who carries the torch? How do we hold on to all this history? OPA can buy my forum. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: the count of registered voters in Ocean Pines has nothing to do with property owners who vote in OPA board elections or with the number of property owners. kinda my point.
