Why did Baltimore get any proceeds from a casino by OP?
That was a very complicated issue and related to getting the votes to pass the initial legislation. Baltimore did not just receive some small part of the proceeds from Ocean Downs, they received it from every casino in the state. However, it was, I believe, a temporary measure and went away after the casino in Baltimore was built a few years ago. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jim also voted to give Baltimore city a higher percentage than locals that bothered me. Why did Baltimore get any proceeds from a casino by OP? |
