Dave: I never understood how Ocean City and Berlin were considered to be impacted by the Casino....?
How is Ocean Pines impacted by the casino? Jim, the reality is the local impact funds designation in the original legislation was purely to influence voters to vote for the bill. Once that fund was created and distributions dedicated to Ocean City, Berlin and Worcester County, some of us decided OPA should also receive a cut of the pie. Are you upset that OPA receives the money, or what? |
