a $159 thousand minimum cost annually for what appears to me to be primarily supervision of the bookkeeping function and use of the L and N software.
The proposal also suggests the yearly cost would be offset by the elimination of two fulltime OPA employees. I suspect, all in, that could represent $100,000 or so. Also, the elimination of major operations like the Yacht Club and Beach Club should result in reduced work and cost by L&N. As for the EIN, I don't know, but that could be read to mean setup using OPA's existing EIN. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I agree with you Joe. A more solid bid needs to be obtained before any reasonable analysis can take place. This is a rough pass rough parameters statement of intent with a $159 thousand minimum cost annually for what appears to me to be primarily supervision of the bookkeeping function and use of the L and N software. The integrity of any financial reporting system begins with accurate bookkeeping so it certainly deserves its share of resources. At the end of the day this may certainly be a viable option. I'm not sure why a new federal identification number (EIN) is needed especially since OP under the identified specs, continues to responsible for all payroll functions. |
