| I spent a few minutes scanning this presentation. It certainly seems professional and the ballpark number to manage seems within reason. Of course the devil is in the details but I agree it deserves a full hearing. Since the board received this during the time the hunt was on for a new GM, I'd be curious to know whether this alternative was fully explored. The talent hunt certainly took enough time to allow this to be vetted as well. | ||||||

The board had it almost a year ago. It has received little or no public discussion, to my knowledge. Seems to me it is surely worth serious consideration, especially if the board want to be transparent and fair with the membership. While this proposal contains a dollar estimate, we have zero information regarding the top secret numbers on new software purchase or long term lease contract gathered by the Technology Work Group and presented in a top secret meeting to the board due to Non Disclosure Agreements the board does not know who signed or authorized. Given this input from Legum & Norman, a comparison of some sort could be made, at least to determine if obtaining a more solid bid from Legum is appropriate. |
