Since we know the size of the Parke... if we had the price that they pay... we might be able to sanity check the 159K price and estimate what a full cost deal might run for us at 10X the size of the Parke.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jeff, you and all association members should read this proposal from Legum & Norman..
The board had it almost a year ago. It has received little or no public discussion, to my knowledge. Seems to me it is surely worth serious consideration, especially if the board want to be transparent and fair with the membership. While this proposal contains a dollar estimate, we have zero information regarding the top secret numbers on new software purchase or long term lease contract gathered by the Technology Work Group and presented in a top secret meeting to the board due to Non Disclosure Agreements the board does not know who signed or authorized. Given this input from Legum & Norman, a comparison of some sort could be made, at least to determine if obtaining a more solid bid from Legum is appropriate. |
