ok, I read their proposal. Interesting, although as you point out the price is certainly soft. We have been going in an entirely different direction for 50 years so this would be a big change. Just my personal opinion...but we should have the results of the forensic audit before making any major decisions like this. After that is done and depending on the results we should probably consider it. Price estimate may turn out to be low. Jeff |

The board had it almost a year ago. It has received little or no public discussion, to my knowledge. Seems to me it is surely worth serious consideration, especially if the board want to be transparent and fair with the membership. While this proposal contains a dollar estimate, we have zero information regarding the top secret numbers on new software purchase or long term lease contract gathered by the Technology Work Group and presented in a top secret meeting to the board due to Non Disclosure Agreements the board does not know who signed or authorized. Given this input from Legum & Norman, a comparison of some sort could be made, at least to determine if obtaining a more solid bid from Legum is appropriate. |
