Doug,

There has recently been quite a bit of discussion regarding the Technology Work Group with regards to possible software purchases and I believe that these discussions are likely to intensify over the next several months.

As you and I both unfortunately know the first casualty in these discussions is usually true, factual information.

I have searched for information regarding the TWG on the Ocean Pines Website and have not been able to find anything. I am sure that it exists, just not sure where to find it.

To become a better informed homeowner and to be able to separate facts from unsubstantiated innuendo and rumor I am requested the following information pursuant to the Maryland HOA Act:

1. I would like a copy of the Board approved charter outlining the mission of the TWG.

2. I would like a copy of the Board approved instructions given to the TWG outlining their duties, responsibilities, reporting requirements and scope of authority to act on behalf of the Association.

3. I would like copies of all meeting agendas and meeting minutes from the inception of the TWG.

4. I would like a list of all current and former members of the Group.

5. If any exist I would like copies of any/all non-disclosure agreements signed by authorized Board Members or General Manager on behalf of the TWG. If any other non-disclosure agreements exist I would like signed copies along with the printed name of the individual signing the non-disclosure along with the written permission from the Board authorizing them to sign on behalf of the Association.

6. I would like a list of all companies and organizations that the TWG has met with to discuss or negotiate any possible business arrangements with that involve the Association including the specific subject of those negotiations.

7. For any negotiations not held in open meetings I would like copies of the signed affidavits from both the members of the TWG and the companies involved in the negotiations certifying that no business relationships, past or present, exist between the companies, the members of the TWG, their families and/or affiliated businesses.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter. I would like this information in time to develop and make any public comments prior to any Board vote regarding the TWG negotiations. With the widespread comments regarding this group I would also encourage you to make this information public through a press release to the media.
