For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks, I only know what some employees have told me. Well, you are gonna love this email to the board. I go over to OPA Administration Building to try and obtain the facts related to an association member reporting changes in breaks for hourly employees. I happen to run into Nate Douty, OPA's new Human Resources employee. I introduced myself and asked what the new policy was for hourly employee breaks. Douty said it would take about 20 minutes or more to explain; he might have to talk with Bailey first; and I probably would not understand it anyway. He also said it was certainly not something that could be explained so members of OceanPinesForum.com would understand. You can't make this stuff up. So, can someone verify the intent of the new policy in less than 20 minutes is, as another source explained: Hourly Employees can take breaks but need to clock in and out should they leave the premises and it isn’t work related. |
