think about the long term Medicom contract a past BOD negotiated and OP is stuck with now. We are all so pleased with that decision. NOT! If that past BOD had not signed a long term contract with Mediacom (or some other cable company) OP would not have any cable service today. That is simply how the Cable TV industry in the US got built out. (More details in message # 1016206.) But you are lucky. You can rewrite history for your home: just cancel your Mediacom service. No bill, no cable for you. Just as if the last 40 years had never happened. Easy! Len |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "So lock the association into a contract now so after the election, the new board will be faced with a healthy penalty for steering away from the Wizard's plan?" That is what I believe will happen...think about the long term Medicom contract a past BOD negotiated and OP is stuck with now. We are all so pleased with that decision. NOT! |
