For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Interesting article. When I first got cable here in Ocean Pines, it was from American Cable, who was bought out by Mediacom. They only had about a dozen channels. Two ABC and two CBS, an NBC and a Fox. Two PBS. WBOC and WMDT were on it. The cost? $21 for TWO MONTHS! I was delighted reading Tom Stauss's article about the possibility of Comcast coming to Ocean Pines. Competition is what we need. How about the idea to have an Ocean Pines WI-FI, supported by our assessment, at a reasonable price? |
