Hey Jeff,
I am with you on that. I just got tired of paying for that darn rental.I have probably paid for that old modem 5 times over. Also, at Walmart you have 15 days to take it back if you can't get the new one to work. I tried to buy a modem at dagsboro from mediacom to keep the burden on them but they said i needed to call corporate to buy one. Now that i am retired i am looking everywhere to save a buck,I even cut back on my ice cream consumption {ok I am fibbing on that one} Happy streaming! Steve |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I've been thinking about buying a modem but I'm afraid I'm not techy enough to troubleshoot it when I have an issue. Also, my rental works fine and you know the expression... If its not broke... |
