Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Janasek Unhappy with Viola Msg# 1094208

Thanks. Afraid I am just not comfortable with board members asking their employee about who the employee thinks would be a good OPA president. Nor am I comfortable with the employee offering such advice if asked, or unsolicited. Viola is a great GM but should abstain from involvement in internal board issues like the selection of officers. I would like to see something like that added to the code of conduct - for no other reason than to avoid acrimony among board members. How about bringing that possibility to the table? Could not agree more...employees/management should stick to their roles as should the board. |
