So even though he voted to censure himself, in essence apologized, three people voted to remove him. By all accounts, those three voted to remove a fellow board member, duly elected, for bad manners. And as you pointed out, one was not even elected to the board. Brown should have at least abstained. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Beginning to look like a deal was cut prior to today's meeting. Why would I suggest that? Well, the vote to remove Janasek failed by a 3-4 vote. However, the vote to censure Janasek passed unanimously. Janasek voted to censure himself. Sure looks like Janasek caved and agree to accept a vote for censure in return for the board not voting to remove him. He essentially pled guilty to the charges. Regardless, this all stinks to high heaven. |
