So even though he voted to censure himself, in essence apologized, three people voted to remove him. By all accounts, those three voted to remove a fellow board member, duly elected, for bad manners.
He did not vote to censure himself or apologize until AFTER the board failed to remove him from the board. As we now know, this public harassment of Viola by Janasek went far beyond a comment or two. It was frequent and ongoing over about 13 months in public places like restaurants in front of other board members, OPA employees, and association members. As Janasek himself said last night, "What I did was offensive." |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So even though he voted to censure himself, in essence apologized, three people voted to remove him. By all accounts, those three voted to remove a fellow board member, duly elected, for bad manners. And as you pointed out, one was not even elected to the board. Brown should have at least abstained. |
