Not only are the climate change watchers anxious about China's continuing build out of domestic coal fired power plants until 2030 but your one article below, China Builds 240 Coal Power Plants Abroad, details how China has and continues to build coal fired power plants in underdeveloped countries as part of their Belt and Roads Initiative. Coal mining in China is huge and generates some of the best paying jobs in the country. It's critical to China's domestic social order to keep this industry on full throttle for domestic and foreign consumption of its coal. |
