I assure you and anyone else, Captains cove is not a pawn in my plan. That’s one of the problems here, several people’s negative assumptions and false twists in the narrative. My integrity means more to me than the games that some play. My only plan is to do the best job I can for CC. After this situation and how I feel I was treated the year before I left, I’m not returning to the workforce in OP. And trust me I wouldn’t post it on here if I didn’t truly mean that since it would only come back to bite me in the butt later on I was offered the GM job three times while at OP and turned it down each time. Just because I was training for it, doesn’t mean I would have accepted it or even been offered it again. I wanted to learn more and was hoping for the training that was told to me. The GM job was not appealing after we had four of them within a five year span. That right there shows a huge problem. Several of the employees working in OP want to leave. The work environment is bad. The trust within is bad. But you know that as you stated, and yes I agree there are moles. They definitely wasted 15k investigating the wrong person. I had hoped that after I filed my complaint somebody would have asked me what can we do to make it better. But they didn’t. I truly wanted to make it better. And not just for myself. And a board self eval is not the solution. In my opinion the opportunity to understand the problems was given to them but they ignored it, created a bigger issue and now are trying to fix it but if they don’t want to actually hear what the true issues are, it will never be fixed.
I appreciate your well wishes for me, thank you. I too wish you nothing but the best. I know you meant no harm and are entitled to how you feel, I respect that. Ironically I didn’t hear about it from either of those two, which again, proves your mole point. But it is unfortunate that you couldn’t express yourself and it be kept to the one it was intended. That is OP drama for you! I too hope the infighting and slander stops. OP is such a great community and the negativity is exhausting. All of this effort should be put into making it a positive environment for the team still in place and the drainage issues On another note, Remy just msged me last night to send her a few boxes of thin mints. Can you help me out with that? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Her hostility began before my email to John Viola on February 20th, but that could have had nothing to do with it. But the fact that my email to John Viola circled through the board and back to you suggests that Parks or Janusek are working with you to reverse the situation as Joe has suggested or at least to perpetuate this drama. I just hope this doesn’t play out that Captain’s Cove is merely a pawn in your plans to return to Ocean Pines, it wouldn’t be fair to them after they’ve created a position for you. And it would not look good for Ocean Pines to play these games. At some point we have to concern ourselves with Ocean Pines’ image as we‘re asking for consideration for services from the county and state. Our reputation for infighting could be damaging. There are definitely moles in Ocean Pines, I remember when 2 of my private personal Facebook posts were given to the press and the GM by a fellow employee without my knowledge. My support of John Viola amid all these personal attacks was intended just for him, I meant no harm and would never have publicly shared it, but since you brought it up I feel compelled to explain. You have nothing to worry about, I am certainly in the minority with that viewpoint. I wish you nothing but the best at Captain’s Cove. |
