Somehow, I knew you would reply. You are correct it is irrelevant. Home owners can build anywhere they want. I was just asking a question if some houses should have been allowed to be built in low lying areas. For example, lot next to me should never been allowed to have house built on it. Builder brought truck loads of sand and top soil to fill. They raised a good 2 to 3 ft on front part of lot. The back part of lot has had an additional truck load of fill since being built and it still looks like a lake in yard. If they were to raise level any higher it will cause more flooding to my property and houses directly behind property mentioned. So yes I thought it was a good question. Maybe sent to wrong person. Worcester county approves a lot of things doesn't make it correct. Having never lived here, I would have never thought of all the problems that can occur here. Now living here for 21 years I have a pretty good understanding. Joe help me out, It was just a question. Once the horse gets loose it's to late to close barn door. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Marty , do you agree or disagree that some homes in 0.P. should never have been allowed to be built because of drainage problems ? Are you kidding? What Marty thinks or doesn't think on that issue is totally irrelevant today. The OP subdivision was approved by Worcester County. Are you suggesting that lot owners in some areas should not be allowed to build on their property? |
