For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The country has made great strides to correct it's mistakes. And now some politicians, like the 1619 crowd, and other groups are trying to erase and to minimize those major steps forward taken by the US. Two of the biggest steps were the Declaration of Independence and the US Civil war. I'd celebrate with you those two great examples. Shining brightly, despite attempts to diminish them.
