Do you think that the entity that owns, safeguards and promotes the Dr. Seuss corpus should continue publishing and licensing books that, in its words, "portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong?"
I would hope that we'd all take some time every now and again to make sure our contributions align with our principals, and if they don't, to take whatever steps are necessary to get back on track. For the record, you can still buy, borrow or sell the six books that are out of print. And the 50+ Seuss books that are not. |
