For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hats off to Chip Bertino and Jim Bunting in response to comments made by Diana Purnell regarding law enforcement in Worcester County. Mrs. Purnell's comments are an insult to the men and women who are sworn to protect the citizens of Worcester County. As a Marine Corps veteran, I am thoroughly disgusted by the disparaging remarks she made toward our military who, I might add, have given her the right to voice her opinions, however idiotic they may be. Instead of trying to bring the country together, her comments have done nothing but fostered racial tensions. |
