Section 5: OPA Board Subject: A Sad, Bad Day in OPA Msg# 1139264

She did the right thing for her and her family. We won't be better for her departure. Shame Farr wouldn't do right by the community and back off until next year. Shame on people harassing her and her family. That is where the forensic audit should happen...who made the threats? Sounds like OPTRUTHANDJUSTICE is not the only coward! Diller got the resignation she demanded as soon as Farr was determined to be ineligible.
And, as far as a new election...how many people said they didn't care if Farr was on the ballot or not, they wanted their two votes? Counting the old votes will still upset some people bc they voted for Farr and he was deemed ineligible...or they didn't vote for him after he was deemed ineligible and would have. It's a pickle. This embarrassment falls on the community, not just the Board. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ms Rogers did the correct thing....just trying to better the community. With her resignation is it possible the board majority could recycle Frank Brown to a sitting director thereby maintaining that majority of votes....if considering Mr Daly a part of the old world order. |
