Based on what we have, he did not write exactly what she verbally said he wrote. Trendic never wrote about how bad her testimony was. I assume she took what he wrote as innuendo meaning what she expressed. 

In my retrospect view, making Trendic the only named focus of her reasons for resigning was a mistake - based on available information.
