Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Janasek - Again Msg# 1139392

The fact you find nothing wrong with Janisak's vulgarity to another board member in private or public displays a lack of standards on what should be common decent behavior. That you don't understand that Perrone was protecting the public meeting inside who were not aware of his Covid status is puzzling. There is a difference v meeting outside with someone who does know your status and is vaccinated. Your last question "Did she answer Tom's (Janisak's) question?" is disgusting, shocking and has us wondering if we want to live in a community with this sort of behavior. How anyone could find Janisak's behavior towards another board member ok is beyond me. How will we ever attract board members willing to serve with the outlandish behavior being displayed in our community. What is wrong with you? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If Janasek said it privately to her, and it was chosen to be divulged it I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH IT, but the mere fact that it is now being put out to the public for comment and consideration, tells me quite a lot about whom is placing this in the public's eyes apparently that person has nothing to hide. "Those emails are part of the "books and records" of OPA." and if this is true, how does a member of OPA get a copy? "Shortly after the board meeting in the golf clubhouse meeting room on Thursday, September 30th, this correspondent received the following email at 5:20 pm from OPA board member Doug Parks: "Just an FYI that I just saw Larry Perrone here at the clubhouse with Colette walking 3 steps behind him and then they both sat down at a table outside. So much for worrying about COVID - I decided to leave before expressing my opinion." Parks wanted me to know that while Perrone participated in the meeting via phone, due to being around someone a week or more ago who tested positive for Covid, he saw Perrone join Collette Horn for a drink at an outside table at the golf clubhouse just after the meeting. This correspondent's response to Parks was, "Thanks. I understand your point but you must admit being outside is not the same as inside at a meeting with prospects of a crowd." And this certainly tells me a significant amount about the management of the OPA, too concerned to attend, but certainly NOT following CDC guidelines of quarantining. "Both Doug and Tom present themselves in meetings as though they are the altar boys protecting the interests of the membership." In my opinion they are far more in tune of WHAT IS BEST FOR THE OPA, than many of the existing in these positions, and while they conduct themselves professionally in public is not a charade, such as being put on by the others who for whatever reasons choose to complete their acts of volunteer performance behind the scenes, in matters not in the best interest of the members of OPA. My opinion, and this is making me re-evaluate do I want to live in this community being managed and run by those not working for the betterment of all OPA paying members. Question: did she answer Tom's question? |
