Joe,
I have written before regarding my resignation. You continue to say it was because I was not elected president. I have stated before and one last time I will state again. I resigned because I, in good conscience, could not serve with Larry Perrone as president of the board. I believe my concerns about Perrone have been confirmed over the last several months. If any other board member were elected I would not have resigned. Looking back, and considering the death of my daughter in March it was the right decision at the time but I did not know what would occur in the months following my resignation. Being on the board is not easy. It is tragic what has happened to Cami Rogers. I suspect Tom Janasek will be removed from the board for his statements and should be. It is sad to see how the board has conducted itself over the past months. My hope is that in time new people will emerge who will serve with the greatest concern being what is best for Ocean Pines. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Before you know it a few of the board members will be assigning the entire board! So, One board member resigns because she does not want to put up with death threats directed at her, her family, and her dog. Another director resigned because the board failed to elect him president and he packed up and moved. Another candidate may be removed or possibly resign due to despicable comments directed at a fellow board member, and previously for tormenting the GM in public places. Maybe, just maybe, the nitwits going after Camilla Rogers and a board member unable to be civil have placed the remaining board members in their current position. But what the heck. Let's blame all the remaining folks who are trying to do the job they were elected or appointed to do. |
