Accusing me of stirring the “original pot“ is without foundation. The committee has seen the results. If you actually read the discussion you will note that Marty Clarke said he sent both reports to me. That is how I knew who did the tests.
Your accusations are without foundation. I suppose you will now suggest I am emotionally involved. Ed, I could say a lot more but you should talk to the real “cook.” After listening to the conspiracy, and being told the name of a purported “expert” who had given an opinion on the meaning of the numbers, I did what seemed logical and reasonable - I called the company that did the test. Why didn’t the committee and/or board liaison do that months ago, rather than try to make a public issue of it by contacting the media in what could be seen as an apparent attempt to embarrass the GM and/or the board With the sensationalist posts you can see posted in this thread |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As to the North pond "tempest in a tea pot"?? It appears that you stirred the original pot. Yours was the first posting on the subject and brought forth a reply from Marty. He was sitting on the environmental committee and after asking for information on what appeared to be a reading that seemed much higher than the other pond readings got no information. The second testing took place in December and has the committee charged with the responsibility to look into these matters yet seen the results? Exactly what is the function of these committees? Make work to keep the natives busy? Had the December results been shared and explained, do you think that this would be the subject of your teapot lecture in October? You're right, it was a nothing burger but cooked by whom? |
