I suggest you take it up directly with the board. The debate over committee activities and board relations had gone on for decades. For starters, few committee members ever attend board meetings. Rarely do committees make any presentations or recommendations directly to the board.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The major issue is the relationship between the board of directors and its committees and if it's even worthwhile for a member to bother volunteering for one. And if that one doesn't interest you, how about the fact that the board apparently didn't bother to confirm a suspicion that the initial analysis was wrong until 7 months later? |
