For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Why would anyone spend more than one hour attending an OP committee meeting? I feel sorry for the Ringsdorfs and Clarkes who have contributed so many of their hours with the thought that they were giving some value to this community. If you are correct, they have wasted their time because boards don't pay any attention to their work product and their board liaisons are mere placeholders. And you believe that's fine. I guess it keeps them occupied and out of trouble. Mental stimulation is always a good tool to combat "old timers disease". |
