| Why would anyone spend more than one hour attending an OP committee meeting? I feel sorry for the Ringsdorfs and Clarkes who have contributed so many of their hours with the thought that they were giving some value to this community. If you are correct, they have wasted their time because boards don't pay any attention to their work product and their board liaisons are mere placeholders. And you believe that's fine. I guess it keeps them occupied and out of trouble. Mental stimulation is always a good tool to combat "old timers disease". | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I suggest you take it up directly with the board. The debate over committee activities and board relations had gone on for decades. For starters, few committee members ever attend board meetings. Rarely do committees make any presentations or recommendations directly to the board. Sorry, I cannot get exercised over committees. |
