| The text on the form itself calls the signature an endorsement. The mere act of signing is an endorsement. Peck was not obligated to sign the endorsement. She chose to endorse the candidate, as did the committee chair. Peck’s ramblings on this are no more than a run for cover. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: How could Peck not vote while signing an application document endorsing Lakernick's appointment? Committee applications often contain comments such as "will make a great addition........ excellent choice." Amy signed the application without comment. Hardly an endorsement. |
