For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Pam, thank you for a thoughtful post. A few paragraph returns would have made reading easier. You covered a lot of territory so I think I will respond via multiple posts. First off -- That means accepting things that in 1950’s were scandalous i.e. women’s rights, gender fluidity and marriage equality. I have no idea why you brought these issues into the discussion of the OPA board. Moreover, what the heck is "gender fluidity" and how does whatever it is relate to the Board of Directors? The appropriate response when a measure is voted down is not rudeness, bullying or complaining that everyone but you is wrong. Mr. Lackernit, has displayed very few of those qualities. If you are going to be critical of an individual, please spell their name correctly. It is Lakernick, not Lakernit. Second, did Stuart shoot your dog, or what? This forum is for addressing ISSUES, not for ad hominem attacks. If you are going to accuse someone publicly of being rude, a bully, or whatever, how about some specific references. Anytime I have been in his company, only a few times at public events, he has been nothing but a gentleman -- even if I may not agree with all of his political views. You mention what you say is Lakernick's "unprofessional behavior." You fail to provide any specific instance to support your accusation. |
