As is the president's prerogative. From the bylaws: Chairpersons and members shall be members of the Association eligible to vote and shall be appointed or reappointed by the President, with the consent of the Board of Directors. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I am aware of one situation where the committee chair refused to sign an application. In that situation the Board liaison signed the application but the Board President declined to forward it for any further consideration. Frank |
